So, what’s my story?
In eighth grade, my English teacher compared an essay I wrote about wombats to a riveting National Geographic documentary. I knew then that I loved crafting stories that transport, inform, and inspire curiosity. That small bit of encouragement ended up being the spark that grew into a career at the intersection of media and experience design.
I’ve since led projects blending technology and story, from documentary films and immersive installations to interactive games and digital kiosks. I’m especially drawn to work that challenges and delights audiences through participatory storytelling and holistic narrative design. I’ve helped bring to life more than 135 digital experiences, as well as over 50 hours of nonfiction television. Through it all, problem-solving and guiding teams through complex projects are at the core of my work.
In 2023, I pursued a dual MBA/MA in Design Leadership. The program taught me new ways to “find the story” with users using both design thinking and data-driven approaches to innovation.
Today, I am based in Rockville, MD, where I work as a freelance producer and design consultant, bringing a storyteller’s instinct and strategic leadership to every project. When not working, I’m usually training in épée fencing or planning my next travel adventure to enjoy hiking and photography.
